Production rods are assembled to a price. These are specified to a job, in this order — which is why two Sawgrass rods of the same length fish nothing alike.

NFC engineers the blank to the action we ask for. The taper decides everything downstream; get it wrong and no component saves the rod.

The program

Touch it before you trust it

Buying a rod online from a brand you have never fished is a leap. So we stopped asking anyone to take it.

Every Sawgrass ships with a prepaid return label already in the box. Hold it. Load it. Show it to the guys at the ramp. If it is not up to your standard — for any reason at all — box it back up and send it home on our dime.

Prepaid, in the box, no extra charge. Nothing to request and nobody to email.
14 days
UPS voids return labels after fourteen days — their policy, not ours. Decide inside that window.
Condition
Rods come back in new, sellable condition. A destroyed box or a well–fished rod we cannot take.
Warranty
Separate from returns: every Sawgrass carries a limited lifetime warranty and in–house repair.
